Child Safety Policy
1. Introduction & Zero-Tolerance Commitment
At Meety, we are deeply committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and respectful environment for our community. We maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy against any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE). Any attempt to share, transmit, distribute, or promote CSAE/CSAM on or through our Services will result in the immediate and permanent ban of the offending user account, without warning or refund, and immediate reporting to law enforcement authorities.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
We strictly prohibit any user from uploading, transmitting, generating, or sharing content that depicts, describes, encourages, or facilitates child sexual exploitation or abuse. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Any visual depiction or media containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors.
- Any attempt to harass, exploit, or cause harm to individuals under 18 years of age.
3. Safety Mechanisms and In-App Reporting
To prevent, detect, and address CSAE and CSAM, Meety implements several robust safety mechanisms:
- In-App Reporting: Users have access to prominent, easy-to-use in-app reporting tools on every profile and within private chat screens. If you encounter any content or behavior that raises concerns about child safety or exploitation, you can report the user instantly.
- In-App Blocking: You can block any user at any time, immediately ending all communications and preventing them from contacting you again.
- Proactive Automated Filters: We employ automated image filtering in-transit to programmatically screen for, flag, or blur sensitive/objectionable content.
- Swift Content Moderation: All reports flagged by users are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. If child exploitation or abuse is confirmed, we permanently delete the content and terminate the offending user's account immediately.
4. Compliance with Child Safety Laws & Law Enforcement Reporting
Meety complies fully with all applicable child protection laws and regulations. We have a clear and established process to report any confirmed cases of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or the distribution of CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant regional law enforcement agencies. We cooperate fully with official authorities in their investigations to protect minors.
5. Child Safety Point of Contact
We have designated a dedicated Child Safety Point of Contact to handle all inquiries, reports, and official notices related to child safety, CSAE, and CSAM. If you have any concerns or need to contact us regarding child safety, please write to us at:
